- REFLECTIONS
- Microinteractions: subtle interaction designs in products, such as button click feedback, to enhance user experience.
- Element: basic components that make up the product interface, such as buttons, input boxes, etc.
- Features: core capabilities of the product, which determine what it can do for users.
- Competition: analyze competing apps, understand market trends, and find differentiation.
- Trends: focus on trends such as design and functions to keep products up to date with the market.
- Kittens: the picture shows fun annotations with cat patterns, or internal references within the team, adding a relaxed atmosphere.
- MVP (Minimum Viable Product): verify product ideas with the simplest functions, and quickly iterate through trial and error.
- Mood board: a visual material board for collecting inspiration, unifying the design style direction. Mobbin, Pinterest, etc. listed below are design platforms for finding inspiration.
- Research: through graphic planning and research, explore user needs and market information to provide a basis for product decision-making.
- The horizontal axis "EFFORT" is the input (time, manpower, funds, etc.), and the vertical axis "IMPACT" is the impact on the product and users.
- Divide into quadrants such as "EASY" and "LIFECHANGING", and assist in screening functions: give priority to those with large impact and easy implementation, postpone or abandon those with small impact and difficult implementation, and help build MVP efficiently.
Throughout the design process, I gradually developed a user-centered mindset. By creating three typical user personas, I gained a deeper understanding of user needs and usage scenarios, which provided a clear direction for my design. When creating the emotional flow chart, I realized the importance of focusing on emotional turning points such as user confusion, expectations, and satisfaction to identify opportunities for improvement. Although the overall flow chart was well-structured, the AI feature was not clearly represented. In the wireframe stage, some functions lacked detailed expression, and while using Figma to create the prototype, I also found issues such as unclear page transitions. Based on this feedback, I will strengthen the visual guidance and interaction logic of the AI feature, add more interaction details in flow charts and wireframes, and conduct repeated testing of user journeys in the prototype to ensure smooth and clear operation. Through continuous iteration and reflection, I aim to enhance the completeness of my work and the overall user experience.
